NEW DELHI: Refusing to give up his efforts to make Home Minister P Chidambaram a co-accused in 2G scam, Janata Party chief Subramanian Swamy today said he will move the Supreme Court within a month to challenge a Delhi court's order rejecting his plea as he has a "very very strong case".   Swamy described Special CBI Judge O P Saini as a "good man" but said the "order is bad" and he was surprised by it.

NEW DELHI: Notwithstanding the trial court's dismissal of the case against Home Minister P Chidambaram on the 2G spectrum issue, BJP today said it would continue to target him and the Government on the issue and await the decision of the higher courts in the matter.   "This judgement has come from the lower court. There is a heirarchy of courts and there are two higher courts.

MUMBAI: In a major jolt to Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), the Bombay High Court (HC) on Friday rejected its plea to hold a rally at the historic Shivaji Park at Dadar in central Mumbai.   However, reacting sharply to the judgement Thackeray said that he would hold rallies on streets and the Maharashtra Government was free to register cases against him. It is to be seen whether Thackeray faces contempt of court.

NEW DELHI: In a huge relief for Home Minister P Chidambaram, a Delhi court today dismissed a petition by Janata Party President Subramanian Swamy seeking to make him a co-accused in the 2G spectrum case.   "Your prayer to summon Chidambaram as an accused is dismissed," Special Judge O P Saini said on Swamy's petition reading out from his much-awaited judgement.
