MUMBAI: If things work as per plans, commuting between Delhi, Latur, Hyderabad, Nanded and Solapur would be much easier as private aircraft carrier GoAir had proposed to the state government to start their services at airports at Nanded, Latur and Solapur.

In a meeting with chief minister Ashok Chavan, GoAir officials of GoAir made a presentation expressing its desire to start their services on the three airports. "They presented the routes to the Government and their study on occupancy of passengers on particular routes,"Aviation Secretary Sudhir Thakre said.

The aircraft carrier suggested few routes including Mumbai-Hyderabad-Nanded-Latur; Delhi-Hyderabad-Nanded-Mumbai; Amritsar-Delhi-Hyderabad-Nanded. The state would also examine the feasibility of the proposal. Representatives from Reliance Industries were also present for the meeting, as the Nanded and Latur airports are under their authority, the official said.
