PUNE: The students wing of “Swabhiman” has launched a mass movement against ragging in colleges, setting up counselling centres and called upon the aggrieved students to register their complaints against ragging in colleges on a toll-free number, organisation’s president Nitesh Rane has said.
Talking to reporters here on Saturday, Rane said this campaign is beginning from Pune. The reason behind our initiative is to counsel the victims of ragging and to ensure that the culprits do not go scot-free, he said.
Rane assured of immediate help and said that students can call on toll-free number—1800-2332-555, which has become operational.
