PUNE: The Deccan Queen will not run on Sunday along with three other major trains on Pune-Mumbai section including Pragati Express, Deccan Express and Intercity Express along with five local trains between Pune and Lonavla for an 11-hour block to dismantle overbridges at Dehu Road and Karjat and Vikhroli in Mumbai.
Pune-bound Deccan Express and Intercity Express from Mumbai also are cancelled along with Manmad-Pune-Manmad Express, Mumbai -Kolhapur Koyna Express and Pune -Karjat-Pune Passenger, a Central Railway release said on Friday.
Four local trains between Pune and Lonavla (L-16 Up, L-18 Up, L-26 and L-11) and a Pune-Talegaon local train (T-5) also are cancelled on Sunday for the special mega block, the release added.
Pune-Lonavla local trains L-10, L-12, L-14, L-20, L-22, L-24 and L-28 will run only up to Chinchwad while Lonavla-Pune local trains L-7, L-9, L-13, L-15, L-17, L-19, L-21 and L-23 will run only between Chinchwad to Pune stations.
Departure of Mumbai-Pune Sinhagad Express (1009) is re-scheduled on Sunday. The train will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai at 5.30 pm instead of 2.30 pm.
On Sunday, the Kolhapur-Mumbai Sahyadri Express (1024) will be terminated at Pune.
The train will travel back to Kolhapur as Sahyadri Express (1023) from Pune while the Kolhapur-Mumbai Koyna Express (1030) will be terminated at Pune and will run as a special train from Pune to Kolhapur leaving Pune at 4.05 pm.
Also, the CSTM-Bangalore Udyan Express (6529), CSTM-Nagarcoil express (6339) and CSTM Hyderabad Express (7031) will be diverted to the Igatpuri-Manmad-Daund-Solapur route while Hyderabad-CSTM Express (7032), Chennai-CSTM Express (1042) and Coimbatore-CSTM Express (1014) will be diverted to the Daund-Manmad-Igatpuri route on Sunday. The Pune-Manmad Express (1026) has been rescheduled to leave Pune at 3.20 pm on Monday.
