BENGALURU: Superstar Shah Rukh Khan arrived in the city on Monday to don the quizmaster's hat and grill future CEOs and brand managers at 'Dare 10', a business and marketing quiz show.
Khan, at the centre of a major row over his comments on Pakistani cricketers, avoided interacting with the media after he arrived in a chartered flight.
The quiz is to be held late in the evening at the Kormangala Indoor stadium.
In the background of threats to disrupt the screening of ‘My name is Khan,’by the Rama Sena, police have provided security at the stadium. " We don’t want any protests at the stadium,” said a senior police official.
The Rama Sena has said it would not allow screening of the flim in Karnataka.
Shah Rukh will question 12 finalists from six business schools on various subjects, including marketing concepts and brands. Participants will also be asked to shake a leg, swing a boomerang and take a diving catch.
The 12 finalists have cleared a zonal round, a national round and an international round before making to the grand finale here.
Organisers said the best teams from India and across the world would compete for the prize.
Shah Rukh Khan will as usual entertain the crowd with his brilliant combination of wit, wisdom and wackiness. Sharukh Khan is expected to hold talks with exhibitors and officials from the local film industry to ensure a smooth passage for his latest blockbuster to be released on Feb 12 in the wake of threats by the Rama Sena.
