Demo held against Goodluck subway

PUNE: Pedestrians FIRST, the platform working for the cause of pedestrians in the city, staged a demonstration at Goodluck Chowk on Monday to register its protest against the ongoing work of Rs 4 crore subway, started by PMC. The forum has already made representations to the PMC and the city traffic police, giving a detailed report on why the subway will not result in any significant safety of pedestrians, and thus need to be stopped immediately. The forum has demanded an open debate and discussion over the issue. |
