LONAVALA: Leading yoga institute Kaivalyadham has stressed on the need to set up a regulatory body to keep a check on the quality and the standards followed by yoga centres, which are mushrooming across the country and the globe after this ancient discipline gained popularity.
“Today, we see lot of yoga institutes coming every where across the world. As this traditional form is gaining popularity, it has become a business for many. Hence it is important to have a regulatory body that would check the standards of yoga taught by them,” Kaivalyadham Administrator, Subodh Tiwari told PTI on the sidelines of the ongoing international yoga conference here.
The Kaivalyadham centre here, is holding the sixth international conference on 'Yoga Research and Cultural Synthesis' in a three-day event here. The conference has been organised with an aim to improve the quality of life and invoke spiritual ethos amongst mankind, Tiwari added.
